Un-bloody-believable. Fantastic stuff. Data is a couple of years old by the looks (only got the old shed), and not synchronised. E.g some of Adelaide is brown summer, and some is green winter. Shows my place's tin roof in all its glory.

On the shot of my place, you can actually see my son's car parked in the street outside! Quite amazing!

However, when I had a look at a couple of addresses of rellies in the UK, the resolution was nowhere near as good as it was for Australia and the US.

seems to be hi-res only for the major cities. I did notice that the *entire* state of Massachusetts was high-res.

It didn't work first time on my machine: some kind of downloading glitch. Try doing another download.

The Capitol in Washington DC is pixellated, but Paliament House in Canberra is full res. Hmm...

Theres even some freeware you can download that automatically removes the watermark blends the pixels back in.

Not that any consultancies such as orus would do such a thing!

Try some of the major US landmarks.

i.e the Grand canyon
Newyork (World Trade Centre is interesting) They seem to have added some additional layers to the photos. You can actually travel between buildings.

Also want to look at a large open cut mine or something of that nature.

It works on isdn but my mb with built in video and crappy monitor doesnt give me a good pic.

The creek through the eastern section can be seen.
About 1km south of brucknell on the east boundary of the creek is an opencut limestone pit.

This really is a big time waster. Just had a look at some areas in Canada that I visited many years ago. Some of the photos are in summer and some in winter. This is quite interesting because you can see how significantly things change i.e partly frozen lake. Much the same as many areas in Australia were photographed during the drought giving large browns pics next to lush green ones.

Why is it free?
