Angry Grr, thieving mongrel drug addicts

The local timber mill that I do work for needed some jobs done last Thursday and Friday but I was otherwise occupied, so they borrowed my crane truck so that they could get these couple of jobs done.

Anyway, the sawmill boss turned up to work Friday morning and noticed a few things out of place and on further investigation, he found that both my truck and another bloke's truck were broken into overnight. GPS units, radios/CD players and CBs taken from both trucks and saline from the other blokes first aid kit.

Interesting to see that the other truck has been parked there overnight numerous times, in fact a week or two sometimes, but the first and only night mine is there, both get broken into. There was also a bit of damage to the dash around the ignition switch on mine, so they obviously tried to hot wire it as well.

So mine will not be staying there overnight again and the other bloke has said so as well.

Anyway, truck is back home and the sawmill boss is replacing what was taken, other bloke picked up the new GPS units and radios etc today.
    Cheers

    DJ

I know, but the weather has kept me inside most of the day.

I tend to agree, but when you're desperate you're desparate and nobody said these people are very bright.

My brother-in-laws shed got broken into a couple of weeks ago. They just kicked thru the fibro inner and outer walls to get in. Asbestos sheeting that is. The shed was full of deWalts and top line stuff. What did they steal? The spray cans.

Guess they are not going to try selling what they took.
The worst part is the damage may cost more to repair than replacing what has been stolen plus the inconvenience.
