Gumtree Website
Been running a couple of ads on gumtree, but when I go to edit an ad and click on save changes it takes me to the upgrade page where you pay $1.99 for preferential listing - and it allows you to go nowhere else forcing you to delete and relist the add.
Anyone else had this, is it a fault with my browser or a scam -Gumtree is owned by Ebay now.

This is not a scam but a condition of using Gumtree.
From their FAQ
Editing your ad is FREE for up to 12 hours after you've posted it
Solution
Editing your ad is FREE for up to 12 hours after you've posted it. Our community advised us that their ads moved quickly down Gumtree category pages and so we’ve made it easier to bump your ad up to the top of the category listings for a small fee when editing your ad. This gives you a chance at receiving greater views and responses while keeping content of the ad relevant and up to date.
