    Default Any Hobart Woodies???

    G'day.
Need to go to Tassie for a Funeral Wednesday.
Flight arrives at 9:35 at Hobart International.
Funeral is at 10:30 around the Austin's Ferry area.
    Is that possible???

I"ve tried "where is.com"......the can't find the bloody airport.
    I've tried "street directory"......they can't find Austin's Ferry

    Regards,
    Noel

Mate I'm not from hobbit but was there recently.

Assuming the flight is on time no bags etc and you can leave asap then it shouldn't be much of a problem (just watch the camera on the bridge )

    will give you an idea.

Time wise it took me 25-30 mins to get from berridale (about 5-10 mins away from Austins Ferry) to Sandy Bay.

Basically you should just make it.

Usual rider ....... not my fault if you listen to me

35 mins tops by Taxi should be about 35 to 40 bucks. You'll get there with plenty to spare. Or if you want I can pick you up from airport (10 mins from my place) and take you out there. You'd have to catch a cab back though. Let me know.

Be aware that flights are often late into Hobart. Bring a hat and good sunscreen. Forecast temp is 32c.
    Cheers

    And a coat

When we were there after xmas we had to wear a coat, hat, shorts and sunscreen. With the breeze you needed the coat (not for rain though).

But you really needed a hat and sunscreen coz it catches you out down there.

oh and btw our thoughts are with you.
