Lightbulb Some ideas please form the gardeners.

I am in the process of planting up the transpiration area as a tropical garden.

What I need is a couple of trees that will grow rapidly and provide good
filtered light and shade. They will need to withstand wet fett from time to time.

I don't think a couple of the good old standards for this use - Poinciana and jacaranda-
will fit the bill. firstly they grow too slowly and secondly they don't particularly like wet feet.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

Black wattle grows fast and gives filtered shade... not sure about the wet feet though.
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
