    Keeping the progeny to the proscribed showering time is a major pain. I'm a little envious, but then I saw that you're living in Brisbane, and my envy went. Worst designed / managed city oin the country.

    We got a water-resistant digital timer off ebay and the rule is 4 mins.

    The daughter used to stand under the shower for about 15 minutes each day.

    I am a rather large guy.6ft and 200lb+.Do I get double time or just wash half at a time?

    yep, mine were known to while away the hours under the shower,
    my response was to buy one of those super economy shower heads that needled the first few layers of skin off.... shorter showers resulted.
    Except I hate those things, I like those huge water wasting shower roses.
    the problem was solved by fitting a quick release modified airhose fitting to both roses.
    when the kids finished . I could do a quick change and have a nice short fat shower.

    what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?
