OK, it's time for an updated list of the countries represented by forum members:
Australia;
Canada;
Chile;
Columbia;
Costa Rica;
Denmark;
East Timor;
England;
Equador;
Fiji;
Finland;
Germany;
Guernsey;
Indonesia;
Ireland;
Italy;
Japan;
Kenya;
Malaysia;
Malta;
Netherlands;
New Zeland;
Phillipines;
Poland;
Scotland;
Slovenia;
South Africa;
Spain; and
United States of America;
For a total of 29 Which I'm sure would have been beyond the expectation of Neil when the board first opened, particularly because I think there are even more yet to be named.

Lets's not forget China and India. Lots of contributors come from there.
Unfortunately most of you never get to see their ads selling everything from Viagra to steel.

Why unfortunately ? I reckon I get enough get rich scheme emails to start a forum of my own.
So now we have 31 countries.

Hi All. This is my first post on Woodwork Forums and this thread seemed like the perfect place to start. I guess my handle ' Berlin' gives it away but I'm in Germany.
It's five in the arvo, and a balmy -7 on the balcony, up from -17 at 6 this morning. Suffice it to say I'm doing all my woodwork vicariously through you lot at the moment.
Cheers

Ok, don't add 1 more...
Oops, not a good start. Just noticed Germany's on the updated list. On the up side i get to use the 'head slap' smiley.
I'm moving to France later in the year, so if anyone's still interested in 6 months, you can update the list.

Thanks Ed, France was on the list. I missed typing it this time round - I'll have to do another complete list to ensure I have a correct number, because I'm now not sure what has been counted.

Yes Alex, I imagine there is a deal of imagination used when some idea/desire for a product is floated. Being a 'Chippy' down there would be the ultimate challenge - recycling any timber available to make the latest wish, or waitiing six months to the next relief ship to bring virgin produce.
