Default Maybe this is why I left Canada

    Questionable employees

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 300
Employees and has the following statistics?
30 have been accused of spousal abuse.
9 have been arrested for fraud
14 have been accused of writing bad cheques.
95 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses.
4 have done time for assault.
55 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit.
12 have been arrested on drug related charges.
4 have been arrested for shoplifting.
16 are currently defendants in lawsuits.
62 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year!
Can you guess which organization this is?
    ..
It is the 301 MP's in the Canadian Parliament!

The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws designed to keep
The rest of us in line?!
Which one did you vote for?

Now I wonder what would turn up if we did a bit of research on our MPs.

I've seen this before, but about the US Congress.
    Urban myth perhaps?

there is a website I think it is called Snopes where they debunk various urban myths.

Mind you there is some very fishy stuff going on with the ALP in Queensland right now. The Oz reported an MP's wife buying property a week before it was rezoned and the rezoning causing a windfall profit amongst other things. So you never know, call it the snout in the trough syndrome.

I was informed that it was taken from the Ottawa Citizen but you could be right even though it is believable.

Im with Wheelin here, its been doing he rounds for a while. BTW It adds up to 301 faults, ie, 1 each for each claimed MP when the Canadian Parliment website claims 305 MP's

There is always something crook going on IMHO, but its easy to be critical of MP's behaviour and ignore the little failings we all have. How many people have never ever dodged in a tax return or on their CV?

Trouble is there are not many good men in politics.
