England batting for two and a half sessions will only give them 90 runs, which will leave Australia 220 to get by those numbers.

I'm sticking with Australia scoring 600

Your right midge, the Poms still bat in the exciting standard set by Boycott. They give the game it's bad name and put people to sleep. God help us if the British Empire can't win a bally game of cricket old chap.

Not quite. When paint dries, you at least end up with a result.

No plan, all grounds fully sold out for all tests (well for the first four days anyway), so as long as there are 15 overs of play on any given day, there are no refunds!

Last days tickets go on sale on the Sunday of each match I believe.

Maybe I'll get to Sydney after all!

Pity that the Adelaide wicket made the Poms actually look like cricketers. False Image!

To give them their due, the Poms have played well in this test, but in the end the only winner in this game will be the pitch IMHO.

I said it before, you've got to graaft an innings. Ask any Yorkshireman, or any of Boycott's batting partners for that matter.
One thing though, Freddie seems to be able to inspire his team, though this blatant hugging of batsmen after scoring a milestone reminds me of the soccer. Whats next, a round of the ground with their shirts over their head?

    Regards,

by stumps on day 3 the poms had played better than us. They have had the upper hand for most of it. I think the weather being cooler here in Adelaide this week didn't help the Groundsman.

All the moaning about the flat pitch but the Poms got some life out of it. I think rather than having a big summer Bret Lee will have to start pulling something out to keep his spot. McGill and Tait for two deserved a spot in this one.

See what happens this should get pretty interesting these next two days

They are saying that the Perth pitch is going to be an even bigger pudding than this one in Adelaide.

Why in God's name would you slow down the WACA wicket?
It wouldn't have anything to do with Channel 9 protecting their advertising revenue by ensuring that the game goes 5 days would it?

    No, surely not.

The Poms mate, a draw is in their favour seeing they hold the Ashes. Can't expect any more from this pitch. Then again we might put em away if it breaks up a bit.

Yeah but at least we have a go rather than just occupy the crease, Poms played for a draw from day 1.
