    Default .pdf files

I am having problems with Outlook Express 6 on Win XP when receiving an email containing a .pdf file. Message is "OE removed access to unsafe enclosure". I know why the server admins do this - as such files may contain viruses. But does anyone know how to overcome it? Is it a local OE setting or is it just the server setting and that's that? I know a way around it, get the sender to rename the file to something like .doc, which is allowed, then rename on receipt. But there must be a better way. BTW I have compained to my ISP, but I may as well complain to the dog.

Well, I don't know why pdf files are being deleted - they're safe

It usually has to do with network administrators that rarely have an IQ higher than the number of the latest SP. (Service Pack)

Better hope they're using a windows system then - the SP number would put you near genius standard at the moment wouldn't it?

Its a security thing in OE, I send a scrollsaw newsletter out in PDF format and had a few people getting the same errors. Let me know if you are still looking for a solution
