    Default Suggestions needed

I was making a clock/barometer combo as a presentatation gift.

Just received a panic call from the district chairman, another group just got her a presentation clock.

So I have 3 days from tomorrow to come up with something and make it.

Dunno how a bookcase would go as a presentation gift so I'm looking for suggestions tonight.
    Regards, Bob Thomas

I reckon Craig's hit the spot, Bob. Hard not to like a presentation box made just for you.

How about a table lamp? Elongated box shape with misty glass panels, over a timber box base.

Go have a look in a lighting shop or one of the 'homemaker' places.

This isnt what you are probbably wanting, but the coolest clock iv seen was made by the great man himself JK. The uniqueness was NO minute hand. The face obviously round was also concave and the hour hands basicly told you it was half past whatever or roughly 10 to whatever. It wasnt to be an accurate time peice. BUT the stunning part was the second hand was very big, and it protruded way out of the face. So you would almost be hypnotised just looking at this way over proportioned hand spinning round and round. True originality. Just love to make one. A google might find one... i will try

Well I started on a coffee table today and intended to do a bookcase (just as a reserve).

Bugger - after dark I find out the camps run outa creek water.
Which runs most the toilets and showers.
Oh well up bright and early tomorrow and transfer water with the fire trailer.
Then I'll have to suss out the pump and see why it didn't fill the tank today.

So I should get the coffee table done , dunno bout the bookcase now.
If the coffee table stuffs up Plan D will happen.

Don't ask what Plan D is!!
