What a great shame that he never got to use all that gear.

Thanx for that ... interesting read. Somehow I can't help but feel he mistook the trees for the forest.

Many years ago my oldest brother bought a metal lathe he saw advertised in the
    Courier Mail.

A fellow had bought this house ( Old Q/lander ), from a deceased estate. Under the
house was crammed full of "rubbish" which the family said was part of the deal, really
meaning it was up to him to clean up and take stuff to the tip!!

Well the treasure trove under the place beggared belief. Amongst the "rubbish" were:
2 Morris minors that had only been driven to the house from the dealers.
    2 metal lathes, never used
Boxes and boxes of unopened Mecano sets.
Unopened boxes containing Hornby Dublo train sets.
Unused tools for metal and woodwork
Unused toys of all descriptions, including Cyclops stuff.

    Just unbelievable!!
