I'm not sure of the ins and outs, but I think if they were used for chemical storage you'll have a hard time getting anyone to release/sell any to you.

No probs. Don't go into the office at the front of the building...it's a different mob. Head down the left-hand driveway, they're right down the back. They open early and close early too (6 till 4 from memory).
Probably best giving them a call first anyway.

Called in to A.B.C. while I was in the area on a squally day to find a solitary fellow sheltering within a big open-ended shed, not doing a whole lot except staring out into the open end. Turns out they only "launder" drums of the 200L plastic and the metal 44gal variety but he gave me a lead to another place that they send other drums to launder for them.
The search goes on!

Already sounds like the making of a great tragedy.
Overall, a very apt description of their operation. Sorry they weren't of more help, but at least you got another lead.
Seems you may discover the meaning of life before you find the source of the mystical drums. All the best with your continuing search.Craig
Expert /Ex-Spurt/ -n. An "Ex" is something that has been or was. A "Spurt" is a drip under pressure.
