Pricing Some Gear To Sell
I've moved to a house with no garage or shed, so I've left a table saw & dust extractor at my brothers place nearer the city to sell.
Makita MLT100 Table Saw and Carbatec economy Dust Extractor.
Both superceded models but little used and in near new condition.
I've got them at $600 the pair and had few takers but a couple of offers of $500.
Is $600 too much?

This is the endless dilemma. In my experience as both buyer and seller the old truism that the market of genuine willing buyers sets the price is true, ignoring low ball shysters and the like. Of course its also true that you can reject that price and hope that a future buyer might offer more, which is sometimes true but often not. More than once I've rejected an offer I thought oo low only to be left with no further interest.
