    Default Some remote success

The remote control for my sterio has been gradually failing over the past few weeks, changing the batteries made no difference.

Then while I was concidering the cost of replacement, I recalled a discussion I had heard on the radio where a bloke said moisture is the enemy of the mobile phone and they should be dried out if they start to playup.( I don't remember his suggested method)

Noting the similarity to my remote I decided to put it on the window sill in the sun each morning for a few days and low and behold it is operating again

We had a similar problem, then noticed there was a bit of dust etc on the lense. Cleaned it, and no probs.

Have a look , that is a good look, at the points the batteries touch in your remote , is there any corrosion etc
