    Default selling on ebay?

Not sure if I'm posting in the right place. I sell some stuff on ebay occasionally but want to try selling some plans on cd at a buy it now price. Being able to replicate the product, I essentially have an unlimited number to sell, but I don't know the best way to do this and whether there is a way to keep it listed indefinitely?

    Cheers

Michael i don't know how you can keep it listed without having a shop but quite often i buy STUFF where the seller has 10 item listed for sale on the one auction.

I suppose when he sell the 10 he then relists.

Thanks Fred, so I should just put it up for the longest time available?

Michael, list it as 'more than 10', and give it 30 days. After that you can repeat, if you want to. What sort of plans are you putting up?

Hi Chris, thanks for the info, I wasn't aware of those options. I asked this question on the ebay forums site and got silence. I have digitised plans for a couple of livestock feed storage bins that I make.

Promise I won't buy a set and copy them and list them at half price on you, but some sneaky bstd probably will. Make sure that they are very clearly id'd as your intellectual property, and if possible release them as locked pdf files or similiar, ie not something that can be edited to remove you ID marks. Don't expect a lot of help from ebay if someone does rip them off and tries to undercut you, you can report it but there is not a lot they will do. They are more interested in people who rip off the listing design than the product listed.

I had wondered about that. SWMBO, my technical adviser is looking into watermarking and locking a pdf. Does that happen a bit?
