Default Is There A Problem With The Server ?

In the last couple of weeks, I have been getting a 'no server found' message whilst trying to access this forum. Just now, it took 13 tries to get in. Am I the only one experiencing this problem ?

PS The clock seems to have gone haywire again too.

There was a massive outage of the server at Ballarat last night, for a couple of hours I believe.

Time problem appears to be related to the server outage but can be fixed by going to the user cp then into Edit Options and click on Submit Modifications. At least it worked for me.

We have just shifted most of our website from an old windows server in Adelaide to a Linux server in Ballarat so some bits should run faster now. I hope.

    Cheers - Neil

PS Many servers are copping a pounding from viruses at the moment and this seems to be dramatically slowing some things down.

    Default Dinky problem

Hi I signed in properly and was recognized last night. Later I was busy posting a message here and after hitting the preview message button, the server told me that I needed to log in. Having already logged in, I went ahead and logged in again anyway, figuring it would take me back to my message. However it took me to the main forum list page instead. Fortunately I was able to hit the back button on Netscape, get to where I was posting my message and copy the text. Then went through the process again, but no biggie, since I could just paste my message again...

Just wanted to pass along the info and hope it helps.

(Oh yes, My cookies were turned on and have been, so that wasn't it.)

    Thanks Neil

All is working well tonight and it seems to be a bit quicker than it used to be.
    Cheers,
    Rod
