Could we please keep the violence out of this thread?

If that trend continues we will have no option but to close this thread.

The admins/moderators have been very flexible here, but despite several warnings and deleted posts the message does not seem to reach certain people

Haven't heard anything since Friday. And that wasn't any different to previous conversations with the individual.

no nothing. Hubby tried earlier today to contact all 3 truck drivers, and no-ones picking up.Makes me wonder who else is in on this whole mess..Unfortunately the mind starts to wonder and feel u cant trust anybody...??

Try phoning from a different number, i'd say he's screening the incoming call numbers.

well i got an email from ebay in regards to our claim
basically if he cannot submit proof that it is being delivered then the claim will be ruled in our favour
but yeah i have been trying to call as well
they either do not work weekends ( hard to believe being transport company) or once again crock of poo
again and again and again and again

well finally got hold of Carl
he recons it is in brisbane but unable to deliver to townsville until sunday

My advice after long and frustrating transaction is to proceed with legal action. I live in Melbourne and have had misfortune to visit his factory on 10 different occasions. Arranged to pick up on 8 different occasions without luck. This man is the most consistent liar I have ever met and what sounds valid is generally incorrect. Word around is that he is going under with not only business problems but all sorts of other issues including legal. Also heard that he only manufacturers trailers to those who have only paid deposits. Beware also that you dont get a bolt together trailer that he has started to sell to meet demand. He may also try to palm off smaller tents. Best of luck it sure has been an unforgettable 13 weeks dealing with this looser.

hey there. whaat is your current situation with southern star campers? Are u waiting on a trailer, have you received a trailer that wasnt up to standard or have u started legal action.

I got a trailer 3 weeks ago with wrong tent on. Took it back then he sold it to someone else, after I had registered it. Spent the last 2 weeks trying to pick up another trailer on daily basis. In the last 2 weeks I have heard every excuse under the sun.
I picked up the trailer on Saturday after waiting there for 6 hours and treatening to call police. I hope to never see him again.
If I was from outside of Melbourne I think this would have been impossible.

yes theres a heap of us that live interstate so as you could imagine it has been very difficult for all concerned..Pleased you have got something in the end.
His mobile is the same number we hae hadall this time.Theres not one person out there thatthinks any different of this person we are all dealing with.
