I would strongly urge you to stay away from them
they have been nothing but dodgey as
please you do not need the stress.
    I would recomend GIC trailers.
I found out last night Scott used to buy these trailers
from gic. Change a few things then sell them under his name
but he never paid his bills so they stopped supplying him
I have found out heaps about this guy
sure you may get it bit do not rely on any support
    he is about to collapse.
    Stay away honestly.

Well mine is finally due to arrive today, it is coming on a small truck from Perth. It was badly damaged on the large truck across the Nullabor. So at the moment, I have a badly damaged BASIC model trailer being delivered, when I paid for a Delux model and also paid for lots of add on extras (none of which have been fitted or included) At this point in time I do not know if the trailer has a compliance plate or not?? I have called Scott numerous times over the last week pleeding with him to fill out the insurance claim form that was emailed to him and he has refused to spend the 5 mins it would take to do this (well he lied to me over and over that he had done it and then admitted he hadnt looked at it) I have waited 5 months for the trailer and he cant take 5 mins to fill in this form... instead he said to me, "Just take the trailer to a local place and have it repaired and then get them to call my mobile and I will give them my credit card to pay for the repairs and I will sort it out with the insurance company later" I nearly fell on the floor laughing that he expected me to believe that one!!!! Holy Crap this guy is full of it! So I now have to organise major repais to my trailer, add all the extras that werent included myself and hope like hell that there is a compliance plate... this saga never ends. I hope Karma kicks this guy in the face. What kind of scum bag wont fill in a insurance claim form??

Well my trailer is finally at my house! Even the unloading was a drama though. Now the trailer itself, apart from the damage and missing bits, looks like a good thing, pity Scott cant just be straight with people and deliver when he says he will because his product is pretty good and he could be making a good reputation for himself instead of running his name into the ground...
There is just one huge big NEW problem to deal with now... he never attached a compliance plate/vin number so it cant be licenced. I just spoke to him and he has promised to post one express post today... heard that story before one too many times though... Anyone know how to get around not having a compliance plate? How can you get one, or does it have to come from Scott?
I will try and up;load some photos of trailer and damage later.

Glad to hear that mate that you finally got it
the best thing you could do is go to transport and say you built it yourself
that way you get plate and vin # etc
I take it your in WA ?
I know you can do that in QLD
all it will take is a phone call I mean there are heaps of people in WA that do build own trailer
    good luck

    G'day,
Haven't stepped in before, but I asked the Trailer Guru about compliance plates, and this is straight gen.

Basically, VIN numbers are given by the registering authorities in each state to the manufacturer of the trailer. However they are a Nationally recognised VIN number, so registering them in another state should be no drama. The reason VIN numbers are registered with the manufacturer is because the manufacturer is always legally responsible for the structural integrity of the trailer irrespective of subsequent owners. (barring any lack of maintenance or accident damage)

So, those who do finally get their camper trailers, but with no VIN plates, as long as they have the VIN number, they can buy their own VIN plate, put the details on it, and get it registered.
BUT... those that don't get VIN numbers, either have to try and get them from this Scott person, or have to try and get one from their own local authority by stating that
they were the manufacturer, but this then makes them responsible for the trailer.

My other concern would be if he's using the same VIN number for numerous trailers... this would open an entirely different can of worms... __________________
