Thread: Spiked!!!

We have hosted several overseas students over the years - more than 30 actually.

One particular favourite was a lad from Estonia. When he asked if he could come back with a couple of mates on finishing High School we were only too glad to give the nod.

All three arrived while we were in Brasil. They got some work experience locally and then headed to Grifith where they found a range of interesting jobs.

After finishing up there they were to come and spend more time here with us.

While in Sydney one of the lads had his drink spiked!!!

As a result he became disoriented and fell through a second floor window, landing on his back. Three vertebra were cracked but he was asessed as fit to fly here, rest and then fly onto Estonia.

He left yesterday with one of his mates.

What a rotten end to what they all considered a brilliant experience.

What sort of low life would do this to someone?
