I'll tell you something else - hardly a word is ever said in anger. (Unlike some other forums)

Most people are real gents (and ladies).

I find the collective wisdom and experience astonishing.

I posted a reply in box making and since I don't know how to cut and paste in this forum ( have to ask my son) I will type it out again.

The weather in the UK looks warmer than here.

Thanks for the photos John, did she leave all the tools in the car - too heavy and too valuable to carry around?

I'm relatively new here, and I've been astonished by the depth of knowledge and the willingness to share (which takes time and effort). This is an extremely generous and friendly board, and I'm so pleased I stumbled on it. Much more than woodwork indeed.

I typed a big long deep & meaningful reply & bloody spell checker ate it.

Never mind, here is the summary....

It is more than a woodwork forum.
It is more than a woodwork club.
It is better than going to the pub.

    Happy Birthday Gumby.

I'd give you a reddie myself, but Gumby will beat me to it.

That's not how you spell FORUM. Bloody spellchecker should have eaten more.

It is NOT better than going to the pub, and what gave you that idea?
    Cheers,

    Bob

Fixed now, I wasn't going to waste any more typing when some nitpicker would come along & point out my typos for me.

For me it's the learning you get from the readings of others...

The only way I could possibly "pay it back" is to out live all of the people who have provided priceless advice and ideas I have stolen and then pass it on to some one else.

hang on? Ruddy stayed at my house one night and I took a bagging all night
    Does that count
