    Question Watchmaker in Melbourne

Anyone know a decent watch maker in Melbourne? I have an old pocket watch that needs adjusting (it runs fine, just gains about 5 mins/day).

Preferably SE suburbs, but happy to travel for someone good.

    Default Watchmaker in Melbourne

Not in Melbourne but I did by chance read an article on a watchmaker here in Adelaide who may be able to help.

Thanks, I'd rather not post it anywhere as it's over 120 years old and I don't want to risk it getting damaged in transit, but I'll keep them in mind if nothing else comes up locally.

Most likely needs a service, clean and oil, may need parts made

Had it fully stripped down and rebuilt a couple of years ago and it was keeping pretty much the same bad time then; I can clearly see the adjuster on the balance wheel through the glass case back, I just don't trust myself to get in there without breaking something
