    Default Weipa Queensland

    Has anyone lived in the town recently able to give me some information on the place - lifestyle, cost of living, things to do outside work etc.
    I know it rains a hell of a lot which I don't mind.

    There is a job up there, it's far too remote for my liking, but I'm thinking do I suffer the location for the sake of having a job or take my chances on finding work outside my field down in Brisbane.

    Paul,

    I havent been there for quite a while Paul but when I was there it a pretty rough place. The mine, a few fishermen and of course the stockmen.

    There was a big bombiejust south of the fairway buoy with Red Emperor a metre long, I remember that bit
