Default the wet season is here :(

not good when you're trying to move furniture, or work on a house! It has been pouring most of the weekend now, and as I sit typing there is rain falling pretty heavily, lots of frogs are out croaking too. Wish it would move south where its needed...

Yeah, we are about 30kms south of where you are & we are trying to pack everything into the shed 'cos we have a tiler coming to do the whole house.
We have had 182mm for the weekend & 92 of that since about 4pm Sunday arvo.

Maybe all that rain will make the sea levels rise.

Yeah but, it is running away from us, we have to worry about the one in the gulf 'cos it is most likely going to come our way & the first rain laden arm of it will cross us some time tonight.
Yeehaa, more rain... to go with the 8 inches we just got.

Reminds me of Cyclone Steve in 2001? I think that year we had 7m of rain at our house (that was Lake Eacham Womble!) and Bartle Frere had 12m of rain for the year!!
There was a young boy called Wyatt
    Who was awfully quiet
    And then one day
    He faded away
    Because he overused White
