    Default What've I missed?

I'm just back from 12 days holidays and I reckon that there must be at least a couple of hundred new threads since the last time I was on.

I don't have the time to read them all so what have I missed?

I'm thinking dummy spits, flame wars, funny posts, that sort of thing

Oh and any interesting woodwork threads of course too.

    Any help gratefully accepted.

    Craig

(For sure somebody will say "do a search" )

As hard as we've tried, we haven't been able to coax a dummy from anybody. We are close with one but the dummy is still in the cot at the moment.

    You haven't missed a thing.

I've just got back from three days away (working at 1770 again ) and have 13 pages and 184 threads of activity!

There was a time not so long ago, when that was a month!

I suspect that after two weeks the tally would be similar, so I'm taking everyone's advice and not bothering! (I'm going away for the weekend to recover from my arduous week.) Funny thing about that is that we are staying less than 20k's from home.

Maybe we should start a thread about the closest holiday spot to our homes??

    Cheers,

    P

My bosses reckon my life is a holiday.

Don't know about that, but how about a party in your pants?:

It's like a mate of mine who would hand out his business card with his mobile number to girls and, shoving his phone down his pants, say "call me any time".

Funny thing, they never seemed to call...

While we're on the subject, I once met a girl at a party who gave me her phone number on the back of an ATM slip. She had $6,500 in the bank. Do you think I called her the next day?

I'm sure you didn't Silent. As a founding SNAG you were solely interested in her personality, mind and whit, completely indifferent to appearance, breast size, hair colour, legs, buttocks and material wealth.

    As am I.

You're right. I waited three days (didn't want to seem too keen). Got to spend a lot of it too, personality, mind and wit not withstanding.

Mate! I'll bet that was a hugely successful chat-up line! What was your mate's name, Pepe Le Pew?
