Phil, Mrs. Wood just read this thread and says she'd be quite happy if you'd kick her out of our kitchen and take over cooking duties (so would I to tell you the truth).
    .
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

I'm only alive today through building up a resistance to Mrs. Wood's cooking over an extended period. She often won't eat her own creations whereas I enjoy a challenge. One of my favourites is her Pecan and Molasses Pie, or as I prefer to call it, Morass and Kerb.

Letitia Cropley's infamous recipes are the main inspiration for Mrs. Wood's gallant efforts in the kitchen.

Letitia Cropley: "The question is whether I bring the snails I've got for my new recipe."

Frank Pickle: "What recipe is that?"

Letitia Cropley: "Bread and Butter Pudding Surprise."
