Got a 3D Printer? Check out this Youtuber
Stumbled across this Youtube channel that focuses on 3D printed tools and accessories for woodworking.
USSA: Woodworking+3D Printing - YouTube
Some interesting stuff on there. Unfortunately he is selling his designs - but at $15 US for the plans for his router lift for example, it's certainly not crazy expensive considering the amount of R&D required to design something like that.

Before you lay out $$ for any lans check out Thingiverse.com as they has free plans for several router lifters.

Made from printed plastic eh. Moulded plastic is weak enough, printed is gonna be even weaker... I'll stick to the ol fashion metal for my tools thx. I'd trust chinese metal junk before I'd trust that stuff for withstanding power tool stresses.
