    Question Bearing Track/ Rail Supplies

Can anyone help me with the supply of Linier track bearings or a system that i could use to make a "Gemini" style copy carver. I am currently thinking to purchase 25mm hardened steel rods and ball bearing pillow blocks to slide both on the rail and H frame. Just thought I would throw this in for some thoughts. I live in Sydney. Have a think and let me know?????

There are plans online for copy carvers. (i think there are free ones)
Why not do a google search and see what they use.

    try

Do a search for "linear bearings" in google. There are numerous places all over oz that sell them.
Have a nice day - Cheers

A great source of nice shaft/track and bearings is older style printers and photocopiers . Most are limited in length to about 500mm if this is enough.
The newer ones are too tinny but old ones were built like tanks.
