Default "Folding adjustable height table" - small improvement

    G'day Mates

Some time ago, I posted the "Folding adjustable height table"
Folding, Adjustable height table - Woodwork Forums

A few days ago, I had to cut some mortises on very long boards (2.2M=87") so, I used it as a support table.

But, I noticed that the top can move a little bit to the sides so, I made this small improvement to "lock" the top to the legs.

That's the table, upside-down...I took some board (an un-used board from a workbench), threaded rod, screw insert, large washer and knob with a T-nut...

I screw the threaded rod to the screw insert and locked it with wing nut....You can use a bolt - sunk in the top or even a T-nut...

Put the "clamping board", the large washer (made with Hole-saw from "floor panel") and the knob and tight it....not too strong yet.

After adjusting the correct height, tight the nut to clamp the top to the legs

    Thank you
    niki
