Hold-down clamps for...everything
G'day mates
There are many methods and instruments for "Hold down clamps" and I think that I know most of them including the "You can buy at..." method that I don't like so much
So, I made them myself to fit to the my jigs.
As you will see, it's so easy and cheap to make them and you can even use one, for a few tasks.
If you have any ideas for improvement, I (and I believe, everybody) will be happy to hear.
Regards
niki

As always Niki simple easy and well explained. Like most ther times I also pick up something else in the background. THis time it was the grinder with the lead neatly wrapped with the band. beats winding the lead rounghly around the body.

Bingo. Me too. Although I was following the pictures regarding the clamps that band just seemed to leap off the page. Guess what I'll be doing in the morning when I get to work.
Great work Niki, I really appreciate the effort you go to in showing us the ins and outs of your love affair with woodwork. Keep it coming as it's very inspiring.

Thank you so much mates
Those bands are for the girl's hair, I bought a few sizes and using them to wrap the cables on many corded tools.
