Hold-down clamps - simple, fast and cheap...
G'day mates
I'm not sure that you will find much interest but for the "maybe", I'm posting it.
I was looking for something easy and fast that I can move quickly from one table or jig to another...
All the "clamp" is actually a piece of scrape that I just drill a hole for the "bolt".
You can make it at any length, width and thickness...just stick two pieces of sanding paper (with white glue) and you are done.
Too much talking, isn't it...
Regards

Thank you so much Mates
Chris.....7:30 AM here....
You are correct, it was midnight at the time that I posted but it's not unusual for me...after all, I don't have to get-up at the morning and go to work...part of the retirement benefits...

Some time ago, I lost all my Photobucket album and all the old posts pictures disappeared.
If you have any post that you would like to see the pics, just reply to the post, it will come to the "front line" and I'll re-load the pics.

I'm not laughing at your workbench Niki. Whatever works !
Am having a little giggle at your spinning picture again though.
I like the turn screw idea particularily. I use a similar thing with my workbench to lock down a supporting board at differing postions for planning. Think your ideas better. I'll get a picture when I can. Like minded sort of stuff. Though I think your jigs are better thought out.

No problem, they increased the "monthly bandwidth" to 25 GB and I divided the posts (pics) into two albums...to be on the safe side...
Thank you Apricotripper
Well, with the aid of the clear shoe polish, it was spinning so nice...I just had to put the pic...

Hi Wheelinround
Some time ago, all the pics in all the posts did not come out with the post (maybe a few members remember).
When I checked the reason with Photobucket, I found that I exceeded my "Bandwidth" for that month (it is null every month), I could not understand why, till I discovered that if you Right click on the picture, and click on "Properties", it gives you the album address and you can access and view all the album and like that, I exceeded my bandwidth...
So, I protected the albums with password and since than it never happened.
If I'll give you the album address, you will still not be able to access it without password unless I make it "Public" album but I would not like to exceed again the bandwidth because of too many "outsiders" visits.
All the pics are here and as I said, if some post does not have the pics, just tell me and I will up-load them...
I checked my bandwidth now and it stands on 12.5 GB out of 25 monthly GB and we are only at the 9th of the month...
Best Regards

Thank you so much Wendy
This year, I did not make so much woodworking, at least not "fine woodworking" so, I have a lot of time to make a few jigs/fixer/aids that I had in mind from previous experience.
Yesterday, I made some jig to cut strips of 2 mm thick (the test was for 2 mm but it can be even less) on the table saw...the pics are in the "kitchen" cooking...
I hope that you already recovered from your small "accident" and you are back in the shed...
Best Regards
niki
