"Home" made and Modified gear
G'Day,
I've just been searching for a particular Wood Vice/Vise/Clamp/Cramp.
A Squashy thing which holds wood/timber/lumber.
Any i found some interesting "Home" made and Modified gear;
Wood work and some Metal working.

They stil make the Z-vise, I bough one about 4 years ago.

There are two companies that sell vises that look like the one in your original picture.
First is Dawn, a W.A. based company....
Look here under "pivot vise"
Second is made by Jorgenson, which is part of The Adjustable Clamp Company.......
