    Hi Burnsy, I use a block of timber across the slot just to the side of the blade and slowly raise the blade. I have not had any troubles, it maybe a little more tricky with the aluminium ones.

    I've an insert for each of my blades
    I simply use a texta and number both the blade and the insert so they don't get mixed up

    Beaut ideas there Routermaniac.

    Reading your thread has prompted me to finally get around to it and put some of the scrap MDF laying around to good use and make a few zero clearance inserts.
