Knife making supplies ?
I am hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction of an Australian supplier that stocks mosaic pins, like these,

I can find plenty for sale in the US, but shipping is a bit of a killer, I am only looking for a couple at this stage.
I would also buy internationally if the shipping was reasonable.Brad.

I can't help with a supplier but have you thought of making your own? I would imagine any hobby store would have the supplies, brass tube, brass or nickle silver rod, epoxy and maybe something to color the epoxy.

Hi Ron, yes I did think about making some, but for the couple that I need I think would be easier to just buy a couple already made up.
Hi Neil, have you made them before?
Thanks BH, I did come across that website when I did some searches, they don't have anything like that listed so I assumed they didn't stock them.
I am in the process of sourcing some from the US, so hopefully I will have it sorted soon.Brad.

Nah, one of those gonna jobs . I did assemble a few rods/tubes when I got them ages ago to see what thy would look like, but then thought about the best way to pour/suck in resin and decided "for another day"
Have you got any hobby shops nearby? Could have a play when I get up your way.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

If you do end up making your own, keep in mind knitting needles, block wall inserts (those plastic things you put in the hole to hold a screw) even straws (check they don't melt in the resin first though ) can also be used to give some more colour

Hi Neal, I had an idea to use slices of these for decoration on the ends of some pens that I want to make in the future, I think I will probably buy a couple of those fancy jobs from the US, a couple of 4 inch tubes should see out what I want to do.
As you know I work 7 days a week, and some long hours, and I am doing a bathroom reno in my spare time, so I am struggling a bit to expand my hobbies .Brad.
