Lo-tech TS blade alignment
Good day
If you remember the caliper from the "Router table fence setting", I'm using it also to check the table saw "blade - miter slot - rip fence" alignment.
You can use any Straight Edge after checking that it is straight and the thickness is consistent all along (the straight edge on the pictures is, part of my rip-fence).

I recommend that you put some spacers (1~2 mm) under the 2 boards and the Straight edge before you clamping them to the blade....
After clamping them to the blade, remove the spacers so the boards and the straight edge will be "in the air"...that way, when you adjust to left or right, the friction will not have any effect on the blade position...
On the 3rd pic from the end, you can see those spacers (I took the pics after I finish the adjustment).
