    Default Makriton router table

Well what else do you do on a wet and miserable weekend ? Thats right ofcoarse get the brain into a state of madness and try being creative thats what i did by taking the triton router table top putting it on the bench marking around the outside of it and cutting a whole in the top of a bench .fit a couple of supports underneath and whallaha instant router bench .
But thats not enough because the useless sliding table part of the triton is just that useless . so i cut the bloody thing of . (only wanted to try out my new recipricating saw with its metal blade nice ) Recently i purchased a Makita mlt100 and on the side of the unit is a pretty useless sliding table so i unbolted it moved its support brackets out wider by drilling tapping new threads and re-bolting . i then bolted the sliding table to the side of the triton table top using flush threads thru its frame and putting the whole thing back in the bench . amazingly works a treat I then ventured out into the back yard where somewhere amongst the weeds i left laying my original triton mark 3 i then robbed it of its power switch witch surprised me was in alright condition i screwed that under the table but im having a brain freeze on it because it doesnt work to well there. might go the whole hog and put it on a post somewhere easy to get at and out of the way .
