    Default Marking Knife

Here's an idea for a marking knife. The blade is made from an old 3/8 spade bit. Handle is rosewood (I think) finished with a bit of the old Shellawax.

I can see how you might think that. Probably 'cause it's true. I'm going to make a right-handed one with a Blue Gum handle. Me old man's a left hander and I thought I'd make the first one for him incase I stuffed it up

    Nice one Silent,
Just one thing, I think the knife is a little too long. It is just my opinion though because I hold a marking knife the same way I hold a pencil. Do you think a shorter knife would give you more control? Well done.

It wouldn't matter how long it is Darren wouldn't have any control over his missus, she's the one who weilds the clubs in their family.

Did any of you ask the lambs that you're marking what they prefer?
I've never seen a cocky hold a marking knife like a pencil, you bloody pen pushers. (bad pun, sorry)

    Darren
I hope I haven't given Mrs Silent (hope she is well again) any ideas. You'd be our all whether chook then. (whilst I'm extending the metaphor )
It would amount to you creating the cause of your own demise.
    ouch.
