Default Measuring tape - not only for measuring

    G'day mates

If you have some 10~15 measuring tapes that you don't use , you can use one of them like that...

    Great idea Niki

However... knew that was coming didnt you!! Anyway unless your unlike me and your 7ft tall how the blazes do you reach the switch to turn it of or take out the plug? Man that looks a long way up And I definantly DONT reach that high... well not without a ladder or scaffold

    Great idea though cheers!

And the ceiling powerpoints are a great idea too... will try to figure a way of utilizing that one when I get dedicated power out in the cave... but it will have to be lower or lowerable since Im a shortass

Thank you all for the kind replies

I'm only 170cm (with shoes) but the garage ceiling is very low, it only looks high.
When I extend my hand, I can reach the door rail and the electric plugs (I took the picture from below to get a view of all the system)

I adjusted the lower part of the measuring tape so I can reach it easily with my hand but still above my head.

Interesting concept indeed. I can't get over all the clamps in the background of the 2nd photo though

Thanks Niki for clearing that up... not that it does me a whole lot of good since I never woke up when Aussie turned metric so 170cm means nothing much to me But I take it your a bit of a shortass too? GOODOH!! Means I can rig something like that up to

And Stuart? Its always good to see another with the same clamp fetish as myself One can just never have enough clamps

    Stuart
That was at the times that I was in Japan and I was buying in the method “From here to there, pack it all”. The small ones were 100 Yen (120 Yen=$) and the big ones 300 Yen so I let myself free…

I opened the dual scale measuring tape and it says 5’-7”, now you know that I’m shorty…but wide…

Would have liked to have a look but Photobucket say your bandwidth has been exceeded

    Thank you Bazza

The pics will "comeback" at 20th of this month when my account in Photobucket will be reset.

I got an e-mail explaining that "monthly bandwidth exceeded" means too many viewers.

I opened new account with Photobucket and downloaded the pics but I cannot "Edit" the post anymore (no Edit option).

Sorry for the inconvenience, please wait till the 20th, another 4 days.

    Regards
    niki

    Wild Dingo and Echnida

I have new account with Photobucket and I downloaded the pics to the "T square" as you can see.
At that time I could still Edit the post.

The problem now is that I cannot Edit this post anymore (I think that you can Edit a post only within 72 hours or so and than the Edit feature is blocked), so even if I open account with Imagestation I will not be able to download the pics.

    Regards
    niki
