Default Moving Switch Box on TSC 12 HB

Finally got around to moving the switch box for the TS.

Just needed some slotted angle from Bunnies.

Was able to pull some more cable through, although this did mean that i now need a 15amp extension lead.

It used to be located on the right hand side of the cabinet.
It is now attached to the front rail on the LHS.

Although at the moment i am still reaching down to where it used to be.

I am actually thinking of sticking a small plastic door knob onto the stop button so that i can just hit it with my knee to turn it off.
    Stay tuned...

Well done. On my 10HB I also relocated it from the right to the left, although I didn't need any brackets as it bolted straight on. I think having the switch on the right is silly as most of us stand to the left of the bladfe when ripping. I actually dished a blade the other day on someone elses saw that has the switch on the right. I was doing deep ripping, did one side and turned it over for the second rip. The blade was quite blunt and hard going in Euro Birch. ( because of deep rip no riving knife was used ) Suddenly it felt like the wood was closing up on the blade, I didn't twist the wood, and I wanted to stop the saw but I didn't want to use my right hand to switch off the saw which also meant moving to in front of the wood and the wood only held by my left hand! The blade overheated somewhat, although the wood once completely ripped through with the large bandsaw, didn't show any burn marks.
If the switch was on the left like on my saw, it would have been easy and safe to switch off with the left hand, the right holding the wood and no need to move into the 'kick back path' of the wood..

Just something of interest the new TSC-10Hb's have the switch mounted on the left side of the fence bracket/track. I moved mine to the right side, if anyone cares.
If it goes against the grain, it's being rubbed the wrong way!
