Default Best Planer Sled I've Seen

Ever since I bought my lunchbox planer I've used it to flatten boards using just a flat piece of mdf, dozens of wedges and either hot glue or masking tape to hold them down in place. This method is the best I've seen, no more tape or hot glue to hold the wedges.

Wedges are made from old birch Ikea table top. Works beautifully!.

They like like something I'll be building soon.
What thickness of plywood did you use for the base?

    Regards
