    Default Sled Dimensions

I have recently acquired a Sawstop contractor saw and wish to build a sled for it.

Is there an "ideal" sled size relative to the size of the actual table?

In my experience, no. You make them to suit the work you do. If you trim doors and sheet goods you make a big one. Cutting boxes then a small one. Cutting dados in bookcase sides and you will want another special size.

    Thanks Pete.

August on the Fraser River would yield some exciting dry-fly fishing?

Oops! I see I haven't updated my profile in a while. We moved out to Saskatoon last fall, so if I ever get into fishing it would be for different fish. I had coworkers that were mad for the sport and would always be heading to the Fraser right after work or before when the salmon were running. It was nice to get handed a fresh fish to take home because their freezer was full.
