Salvaged Parts
I bought this Ergo stool from OFFICEWORKS for $9.00
Yes thats right $9.00
It turns out to be very uncomfortable and hard to use for any length of time. Must be the reason it was so cheap!
Anyway, the reason i'm posting here is to say that there is some useful bits that can be put to other uses.
The bit that grabbed my attention was the adjustment rod and bars that allow the seat to be altered to different heights.
Great for DIY Router Table height adjuster or Drum Sander.
The castor wheels have a lock on each wheel - Coffee Table?
Plus the steel frame could be altered for other uses.
Certainly worth the $9.00 I paid.
If your quick you may be able to buy one and get the parts.

Linden, how long is each thread section in the picture you show?
Total length of RH thread and LH thread will do and how much adjustment from min to max?

Hello Artme .....How ArtThou?
Sorry for delay with response.
The Threaded middle section = 145mm
The Tube ends measure 115mm each
Total closed up tight = 245mm
The Tube ends are 25mm OD x 1.6mm (approx)
You could extend them by fitting tube into or over them.
Hope this helps - Better be quick if you want get one from OfficeWorks.
