    Default Rolling Mortise jig for router table

    G'day mates

    It was running in my head for long time and now that I made the new router table, I made it.

    I did not make any project yet just a test that you can see on the last 2 pics but it's working nice.

    The setting might look very long (on the pics) but actually it's very short. The "Fence stops" are set only one time and the "Roller unit stops", two times (one for left and one for right) but it takes seconds.

    On the test, I cranked the router up in increments of 3~4 mm but I felt that I could lift more each time.

    Regards
    niki

    Thanks for the post. I am new to the ww game and have been making templates for each new mortice I needed (tedious at best) and have not been able to completely understand all the jigs I've seen. Your post was very cogent and easy to understand. Once again thanx!!

    Niki ,
    I like this jig very much ,I think I will knock some thing together for my Triton Router table
    using your idea .
    I can see a few other adaptions of this jig ,maybe for dovetails and finger joints .

    Very well done .

    Thank you for your kind comments

    I don't make Dovetails but for finger joint I use a "Roller sled"

    And the finger joint here

    Ramps
    Come on mate, it's cheaper only by two zeros

    Thanks
