    Default shooting board

I'm making some octagonal boxes, and need to get accurate 22.5 deg angles for the trim pieces. Made up a shooting board today, to do the job. It's inclined, and the fence is held in place via a wedge. Had an enjoyable couple of hours making it, and stretched my skills a bit further. The angle looks okay, but the proof of the pudding will be when I make the trim pieces. If needed, the angle gets adjusted by fine detailing with a chisel.
