I had Hammer K3 attachment envy after I saw the small mitre attachment that came with a neighbors set up.
It has a pretty ingenious method of setting 90 degrees reliably - that was a step too far.
Using a speed square against the sliding table edge works very well for me.
I don't have a lot of space and always wanted a mini mitre guide for small pieces when I can be bothered setting up the panel attachment or dragging out the drop saw (it's mostly about space and a little bit weight & dust)
Anyhow it turns out it was pretty simple to make and works a treat - I couldn't even find something comparable to buy without sacrificing a limb.
Length stop simply slides right out if not required, extrusion is a maytec offcut, started with 100 x 100 x 6 Al angle for main body.
Did some trimming.
Drilled pivot hole, loosely bolted angle Al to T block and milled Arc by slowly rotating angle Al using a large wrench. Drilled second lock tap point while everything was in place. Locking knobs at Bunnies, Machine locking levers easily found on Ebay - I already had these 2. Probably spent $30?
