    Default Table-saw featherboard

Here are a couple of pics of my table-saw featherboard. The 5/16" tee-nut engages with the saw's mitre slot. The tri-knob with 5/16" bolt extension and the tee-nut were bought from my local Bunnings.

Hey Rocker, good idea, but how do you keep it from moving in the slot?

    Marios,

I just tighten the knob. The edges of the tee-nut grip the shoulders of the mitre slot.

Great job David! I've been meaning to build something like that for a while.

    Thumbs up Thanks.

Thanks, Rocker. I've just used your idea to alter the one I had for my Triton to fit the TS. 5 minutes work and it's great.

Not sure how the tee-nut engages the mitre slot walls. My tee-nuts have nails that engage into the wood (see pic), that would stop it rotating. Do you cut the nails off?
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

    Zenwood,
Yes, I cut off two of the pins from the tee-nut ; the other two are driven into the runner to stop the tee-nut rotating.
