    Question Table Saw Fence (Homemade)

Just found this Site and really enjoy it.
Has anyone made a homemade rip fence? I am retired and naturally on a reduced income, but would like to improve the rip fence on my 12" Craftsman table saw, but dont want to spend that much.
I have seen some nice heavy duty extruded aluminum at the recycle yards that would work. But don't know what kind of trolley/locking system the professional ones use. If anyone has an exploded view or detail photos I would appreciate it.

My current project is building a CNC router. Working area is 20" X 28". Plan to do some programmed wood cutting on it.

Here is a link tothe CNCZone Forum

Here is a page worth visiting if you are planning to build a T-square fence of your own for a very small fraction of the cost of a Beisemeyer type:

    Hope this helps

    Default Table saw fence

That is exactly what I'm looking for.
    Thanks so much.
