Table Saw Upgrade?
Hi guys,
I have a cheap trade tools 10" Table Saw pictured below picked up at a garage sale new for $80 about two or more years ago when I started the renovations, its served me well for odd jobs but the fence is a real bugger to use actually preety bloody useless and the table is painfully small.
I was thinking of maybe building a larger table around it in MDF or plywood I wont mess with the unit besides moving the power switch, and also buy a fence as well.
Has anyone done something similar, got some pics, what fence should I buy etc etc
Ideas, Do's and donts are more then welcome.
Thanks WillyI like to move it move it, I like to move it.

Table saw fence
Since you are looking to build a table around the table have you thought about building a fence. I've seen some nice work done and presented in this forum. I have built a few from scrap materials. As I can't weld mine have all been bolted and hence can be adjusted if required.

There is a shopnotes article that looks at building a cabinet for this kind of saw. I think that it would make it 100% more usable....
