    Default Unlimited Drill Press

    G’day mates

I would like to share with you small patent that is very useful sometimes.

As you know, the drill press is limited by the stand (the tube) to 10cm or so in depth.
Another limit is, if you have a big heavy plate, it’s difficult to handle and you need supports.

So, if the plate cannot go to the drill, lets bring the drill to the plate.
As you will see in the pictures, it’s very simple patent that overcomes the drill press limitation.

You can drill even shelf holes, just drill a 5mm hole in the plate and use it with 5mm pin as a stop for the next hole.
The possibilities are limited to your imagination.

    Hope it helps

    Regards

    Thank you so much Shedhand.

As they say, “Necessity, the mother of invention”

I think that you would make the same one if you needed.
