Veneer / Inlay Press
Here is my version of a veneer / inlay press. It has an inside dimension of 13"x18" with about 4-5" of height clearance. The design was based on a plan from an inlay book I have and from Powderposts pictures of his. Testing will commence within a month or so. The band that is in the "in-use" picture was made before the press was built. Pictures can be found at http://www.thedragonslair.com as they are 1200x800 so detail can be seen better. Figured they were a bit large to post here.

Good job.
I had been contemplating making a press exactly like the one you have built with the MIG welder and some (lots) threaded rod, but decided the vacuum press would better suit me for space limitations.
Will be very interested to see how it works for you.I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
